electric blue chalk

Earlier in the week, Erin and I and some friends of ours went to a park and grilled. There was around a thousand children at this park as well as one piece of electric blue sidewalk chalk.

I brought it home and drew a monster in my driveway.

  2. "Half a league half a league,

    Half a league onward,

    All in the valley of Death

    Rode the kitty:

    'Forward, the Kitty!

    Charge for the guns' she said:

    Into the valley of Death

    Rode the kitty.

    'Forward, the Light Brigade!'

    Was there a kitty dismay'd ?

    Not tho' the kitty knew

    Some one had blunder'd:

    Hers not to make reply,

    Hers not to reason why,

    Hers but to do & die,

    Into the valley of Death

    Rode the kitty.

    Cannon to right of her,

    Cannon to left of her,

    Cannon in front of her

    Volley'd & thunder'd;

    Storm'd at with shot and shell,

    Boldly she rode and well,

    Into the jaws of Death,

    Into the mouth of Hell

    Rode the kitty.

    Flash'd all her sabres bare,

    Flash'd as they turn'd in air

    Sabring the gunners there,

    Charging an army while

    All the world wonder'd:

    Plunged in the battery-smoke

    Right thro' the line they broke;

    Cossack & Russian

    Reel'd from the sabre-stroke,

    Shatter'd & sunder'd.

    Then they rode back, but not

    Not the kitty.

    Cannon to right of her,

    Cannon to left of her,

    Cannon behind her

    Volley'd and thunder'd;

    Storm'd at with shot and shell,

    While horse & hero fell,

    She that had fought so well

    Came thro' the jaws of Death,

    Back from the mouth of Hell,

    All that was left of her,

    Left of the kitty.

    When can her glory fade?

    O the wild charge she made!

    All the world wonder'd.

    Honour the charge she made!

    Honour the Light Brigade,

    Noble kitty!

  6. Connie, she's our outside Kitty. A stray that adopted us a couple years ago. She's very affectionate and wanders around clearing the area of any creature smaller than her.
