Grimm and Other Folk Tales : The Quotes

One of the central ideas of my show was that I wanted to provide an experience for people. I wanted whoever came to see the show to be able to leave with a richer understanding of art, the process, and of the stories themselves.

One of the ways I tried to do this was through the use of quotes by people who had a much better grasp of the English language. With out further ado, here are the pieces paired with the quotes I picked.

Prints are available! Visit my Etsy store! It's under construction at the moment, I'll be adding more to it but I've got all of the matted 8 x 10 prints available. The prints turned out perfect and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. They were the best seller of opening night. We sold out quickly of several but more are on the way!

  1. Your quote-and-painting parings were a brilliant idea, and I'm quite certain that if I'd been able to go to your show, they would have brought tears to my eyes.

    So beautiful. Marvelous!

  4. Eeek. I'm aflutter, as I've got The Rabbit Room bookmarked, and you bookmarked... and suddenly worlds collided. I've just been devouring loads of Lewis and Tolkien bios, etc. Your work right now dovetails wonderfully with what I have been reading.

It's fun when little things like that happen. Your work is really, really beautiful. I love what Andrew Peterson wrote about you.
