  1. Pluto! and I won't accept that theory/ruling/insane raving that Pluto is not a planet!! I refuse to let him go! Not only is it a diss to a planet that had respectfully served a long time as a planet to suddenly demote it but think about how his namesake feels! Now he hasn't even lent his name to a planet! Pluto/Hades is always getting the shirt end if the stick.

So while most science may deny Pluto, I do not. Hang in there Pluto! Fight!!

  2. It's called a scooter :P

My favourite planet is Saturn, I've always been drawn in by those pretty rings.

  3. Mine is Stavromula Beta.
And I think I even like this drawing better then the last one. Wow. Fantastic week! Thanks again. Just for the chance to win.

  4. I'll go with Jupiter. That giant red eye thing always intrigued me.

  5. Pluto and its fellow plutoids and plutinos... there's just so much mystery out there!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Uranus, because it is the butt of so many a fine 8th grade joke.

For the record, my wife rides a scooter...and has brown hair...and wears glasses....and this would look great in a bathroom.... I'm just saying...

  7. Dammit, it falls to me then. I've always admired Uranus.

  8. By far, Saturn is the coolest. Rings and all.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Earth! I'll never get to visit any of the others and I really like it here anyway!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm gonna have to say Lusitania... from Orson Scott Card's awesome brain.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I like Saturn because of the rings.

Love the motorbike sketch! Let's see.... favorite planet? I'm going to have to go with Saturn. Remember seeing those rings for the first time through my backyard telescope when I was a kid!

  13. In our own solar system, Mars is pretty cool. In the fictional realm, Hoth has my vote.

Congrats Mel, and good luck everybody!

  14. Congrats Mel!

Motorbike chick is super cool though... :)

    Pluto! Ruff!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Favourite planet? Krypton... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well, if we're talking real I'll have to side with Mars. Fictional? Dagobah. Just rolls of the tongue.

  17. NARNIA! ... no wait... what?

    ReplyDelete
  18. This one is great.

My favorite planet?... Earth, of course.
    Good day for you, Cory.

  19. My favorite planet has always been Saturn, I even remember trying to tape a circular piece of painted, cutout cardboard to my four square ball when I was about 6, trying to recreate the look. Of course the cardboard flew off after I bounced it, which was a bummer.
I think I thought that you could stand on the rings and survey the planet from there. Like the viewing platforms on skyscrapers. Everything was a lot cooler when I was 6!

  20. I'll gladly toss my name into your hat, golly it must be a big hat!

Let's say Kolob for the planet of choice.

    thanks

  21. Yavin 4 is such a kick ass name for a planet (Arrakis sounds too much like a skin disease haha) ^_^ I like Saturn too

  23. Favorite planet? Adsuck.

Because that is the planet I had to traverse to get here. Word Verification. Adsuck.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think Saturn is very cool, but I have to say I'm partial to Earth… she gave us all life, after all.

Treasure Planet's got a nice ring to it too. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Naboo, which does not have a molten core like other planets. Instead, it has an endless labyrinth of underwater caves that are plasma-rich, thereby keeping the planet a stable, mild climate.

  26. my friends have fostered a fancy for earth. my fellow earthonians must follow with mirth.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Um, Earth is cool...
    :)
Great drawing! Fingers crossed. What? That doesn't guarantee anything? [sound of world crashing...];)

  28. Endor because I've technically been there before (if visiting the CA redwoods counts..) and because, who can resist a planet full of cute, cuddly and utterly ferocious ewoks. c'mon.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Earth... I'm such a homebody these days.

And how do you get your cat to do a "high five"?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I support me winning this drawing.

    - Daniel from Steam Crow.

  31. Neptune rocks. I had to dress up as Neptune for a grade school science fair. It's very hard to sit with a big cardboard planet hanging off you.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think I always was a fan of Uranus...
For the sheer fact that it has always made me laugh to say it.
    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hoth is my favorite planet. But why dont they call it "Coldth"?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maria8:55 PM

Straight up planet: Pluto. Always and forever.

Planet from Gustov Holst's suite: Mercury... the Winged Messenger.

    ReplyDelete
  35. hmmmmm planets eh? Let's see I'm gonna say venus, cause it's oh so womanly.

    ReplyDelete

  38. Jupiter reminds me of a big peach.

    mmmmmmmmm!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I like Pluto. And, your drawings are the coolest!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Jupiter.
    I hope I win! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yessss... I have a 1/42 chance of winning a Corey piece! I'll have to say Saturn.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh. Sorry, Cate. You now have a 1/43 chance :P

As for my planet... I think a dwarf one would be cute. Let's go with the IAU's Makemake :)

(Nice drawing too! btw. Vespas are the best!)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Earth. For all you Saturn fans, if Earth had rings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT2sQ7KIQ-E

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oooo! Favorite planet: Dagobah. I like the tropics. (Least favorite planet: Camazotz. That's always been what I think Hell must be like.)

Great idea, Cory! I wish I had read this earlier so I could have thrown my hat in for Boba Fett!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thanks for doing the giveaway. My favorite planet is Mars.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's a toss up between Cybertron and Earth because while Cybertron seems cool, all the Transformers I'm familiar with live here. Earth would win for sure if it was like a Third Earth with Transformers. That goes without saying.

  47. Anonymous12:52 AM

    Pandora!

Let's go hunting at the zoo later!

    ReplyDelete
