Illustration Friday

He Suddenly Remembered the Ticket

Haven't entered the Illustration Friday for a week or two. Work has been very busy and all of Fridays in the office are now focused on internal story development.

These are very busy, very productive days.

The Illustration Friday theme for today is "Broken." Hoping to not fall into the obvious hole this topic presents, my post is about breaking out, not being broken and despairing.

Despairing never fixed one broken thing.

This is lovely ... the charcoal look makes it mysterious, love the boat on the cloud :)

This is beautiful and fanciful, but especially, it is so hopeful! I like your positive approach to the topic. I also opted to look at it as unbroken rather than broken. Beautiful!

Very nice Cory. I like the little sail boat floating by. True comments on despair. Dad

All of your illustrations have a charming warmth to them, even those rendered in cool colors. I love the concept of the little sailboat breaking out of it's grey world on a swell of clouds! Lovely.

your work is always wonderful Cory.
I at first did do something very negative but after a few days deleted it out. Never again will i do that.
replaced it with something more positive.
What I am trying to say is that you are an inspiration and i love seeing your work
