you're not going to believe this...one of my nursing teachers is a female whittington. same accent, same mannerisms. I almost started laughing when she said the word "temperature" today and instead of the customary pronuciation (tempera-ch-ure) she said it with a 't' sound just like the whit. it's amazing.
