The Tapestry, book one: The Hound of Rowan Here's the cover of a book coming in September from
Random House. I had the privledge of designing and creating the cover. Their designer created and placed the text.
Basically they asked for something that felt like a "tapestry" and I took imagery from the interior illustrations (the author illustrated the book) and created the cover.
I hear tell that this title was the hot item at this year's
BookExpo in Washington, D.C. Something about trilogies being dead and this collection reviving them. Something like that.
Maybe they just liked the picture.

Henry Neff tells me you're the one to blame for my having bought his book. I'd never heard of it, but caught sight of it on a bookstore shelf and couldn't help but buy it. The cover art was that alluring, it would seem.
And now? I'm left here feeling miserable because it was Book One in the trilogy and who knows how long I'll have to wait for the rest?
If you weren't such a talented artist I'd scowl at you and maybe mutter some nasty things as well. However, as is, I'll have to give kudos to you and probably wander back here a few times. I love your illustrations. Simply love.
